Anne Nelsen joined McKay Architecture in September 2008 after spending three years working as an architect in Tokyo. She is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, where she studied architecture and art. She is interested in the way that culture and location impact the subtle differences in the texture that surrounds us in our daily lives, and has been documenting these differences in photographs for over four years. Anne loves to travel, and believes that all experiences assist the design process in one way or another—which is a fantastic excuse to live life to the fullest!
